STi wheels. **Better pictures!**

Finally washed the car today, and snapped some pics in the driveway. (only had a few minutes)

I didnt notice the camera was on the wrong setting until just now...so the sun washed out some of the color on the rims.

I'm going to do a full detail on it tomorrow, so maybe I'll take some "artsy/natureish" pics after that.

Yknow, i've been thinking on how those would look great, and... You've proven me right but was'nt too sure that they would fit properly. Looks great. I also been thinking on how they would look on a red car compared to a black one. But after seeing it im sure they would look great with any color.

Very Italian...

looking with the gold wheels. As I mentioned before this is a classic Italian color combination, usually on race cars. There are several '05 STi's in the office building parking lot at work. The silver just doesn't look as exotic to me. Everybody's got silver wheels. For me, the gold/bronze wheels are more in keeping with the exotic nature of the SVX. The fact that they're OEM off an ultra high performance/street legal race car doesn't hurt.

I've got the same color SVX, and an opertunity to grab some gold '05 STi BBS's as well... but for some reason, I don't think I'm going to do it. I think on any color but red those rims would be awesome... but for some reason the red/gold is just falling flat for me. I give it a B+/A-.

Don't get me wrong, it does look good (and like 100x better than most the rims available in our size)... but for the cost of some STi rims, I think something else would look better on a red car. Like some Gram Light 57S's...

It's times like these where I wish my SVX were blue... blue on gold would be HOT! So would a pearly or black SVX on gold... someone w/ a pearly, go borrow Bwana's rims and take pics!!

No way, red and gold = best . I've no pics of my leg with the sti wheels, but it was hot.

maybe it's the blurryness, or the way your spoiler is, or something but it looks like you're cookin in that pic.

You gotta get some springs on there to improve the handling and adjust the stance. :-)

They really werent that expensive compared to getting brand new rims/tires. They were cheaper then my Enkei's with tires.

I was out driving around with my GF, and it was foggy as hell. So after she went home I grabbed the camera and tripod and went looking for a good spot for some foggy pics. First place I went had no fog . Second place I went had a ton of fog, but by the time I got the camera out and set up, it was all gone . So i drove around to a few other spots, and the fog was all gone .
I did find a nice puddle though!
