The Shrewsbury Burger King Meet

I'm glad I decided to go out to lunch today. I'm sitting at the local Burger King getting ready to head back to work when something catches my eye. I turn to see a red SVX stopped at a red light. I thought this was going to be another instance where you see an SVX but you don't have the chance to talk with the driver. Well, much to my surprise, he saw me and pulled a u-turn into the parking lot. Cool! It turns out it the owner was sicksubie, a recent member of this website. He just recently bought his car and was obviously very bitten by the SVX bug That mini-meet really brightened my day

Nice talking to ya sicksubie! Stop in to Patrick Subaru if you need any parts!

or he was hungry for a Whopper and it was coincidence

I always seemed to see 2 SVXs on the morning commute down 495 but since I bought my car I no longer do. Maybe one of them was the one I bought??

We should have a mini-meet down the line for the folks around here, we could just tag along with the NASIOC guys, they seem to do dinners every few months, mostly in central MA.

Later!

Hmmm...I guess today was the day for quick-meets, I too saw an unfamiliar SVX on my way back to work after lunch. So, of course, I pulled a U-turn and pulled in the the gas station behind him. And, I didn't even have to worry about him thinking I was a freak either, as soon as I got out of the car, he says "Hey, that's a nice XT!" He'd said he'd heard of this place, and would like to go for a meet sometime, but we both were unfortunately in a hurry, and didn't have much time to talk. On the way out, I noticed his plate too, "LVRSVX". Nice!

I think in Rhode Island it's called the 'stick' (singular)

Oh you young guys are all into quickies.

Dave...when did you move to Patrick?

Hey, it's not our fault! It must be the lack of an ozone layer, chemicals in the water, and mad cow burgers.
