R&T Guide..it's a great thing

Let me just say, thanks. I didn't realize how much work was put into this wonderful car. Sure it's special, we all know that, but after reading this issue I see now just how special it is. I knew it was special the second my butt hit that wonderful leather seat, and the more I learn the more amazed I am about my RIGHT choice.

To those who don't know. Download or get the R&G SVX Issue and READ it. It's will make your already huge appreciation for this wonderful car even...huge'er.

Now I almost want to get another just to store away for a day when this one's all worn out. But then there's that money issue.

I WILL keep this car till I die. It may have a million miles on it then, but hey I just read about the 427,000 mile 1987 GL that a guy wrote about in the DRIVE mag and I figger I got a FEW years before I reach those kinda miles....

When I first got my R&T Guide (I paid 25 bucks for it from a guy who'd just sold his SVX ), I put it in that very special "library." It was a big mistake. When I decided it was time for me to stop reading, my legs had fallen asleep and I couldn't remove myself from the . . . "easy chair." So, for those of you who have, or will, purchase hard copies, don't take it into that special "library." If you do, plan on hanging out there for at least 5 minutes after you stop reading in order to get enough circulation in your legs to be able to walk again. I've learned my lesson.

Wow, you're right! I hadn't been keeping up lately. I guess I could be considered the Network "Poster" Chid, huh? Anyhoo, thanks for the congrats. And, enjoy the guide -- it is MOST amazing. "Rufus" did a great job on the scans -- 'specially since he included the jpegs along with the pdf's -- you can swipe, uh, research photos every day. Thanks for the "thanks" Aredub, but I must say that it was your idea in a post on Yahoo "a few months back" (memory is fading, I may have to buy a Caddy or Lincoln soon) that provided the initial inspiration for this project. So take a bow, Randy
