warped rotors already?
I recently installed new front rotors/slotted and pads (less than 11,000 miles ago), is it possible that they are warped already? I purchased the rotors/pads from raceconcepts. I feel a shutter from the brake pedal especially when going down hills. Any thoughts? Thanks, Chris

Have you been installing your lug nuts with a torque wrench? If not, remove the lugs and reinstall them using a torque wrench to put them all on at equal spec.

My car first 'shuddered' after I bought it in April, and after checking my lug nuts, I found one that wasn't torqued properly on the passenger side front wheel. Shudder went away afterwards! -Chike

I know most folks swear that over-torqued lug nuts will warp a brake rotor, but I've always had my doubts. Maybe on some makes, but not on anything I've owned. dcb |

yes the lug nuts have been put on to spec 80lbs. Haha, mike you should know how anal i am about this car. Actually now that i t hink about it, i recently had 4 new tires put on, it is possible that they just drove the lug nuts on with an impact wrench. Thanks for the advice guys, i'll get back to you
