Manual Transmission
I am new to the SVX "scene" and I was wondering if the SVX's ever came with a manual transmission in the 2WD or the AWD trim in America...one of my friends says they never came with a manual tranny...but I thought they did...I thought it was one of the last years they came to America (i.e. 1996 or 1997)?
Anyone with information please post because I want to get this all cleared up... ScoobyEG33

Sadly, your friend was right. However, it is possible to convert to a manual transmission with a bit of work....

The SVX never came from the factory with a manual transmission. However, some people have put a manual tranny in their SVX. www.smallcar.com actually has several kits to help you do the swap.
