Interesting stuff relating with tire pressure

I've found that binding problem and the wierd thunking problem I had when coming to a complete stop had to do with tire pressure. One of my tires loses air a little over a month. My front passenger side tire had around 29 psi while the other front had 36 psi, while I leave the back ones at 32. The rear tires I keep filled to 32 psi, while the fronts I usually have at 38 psi. I noticed that after keeping even tire pressure the thunking went away and everything is fine. No more binding as well. Tranny shifts fine too. . I'm happy.

The tires I have are the Yokohama AVS S4-z's and they're pretty old but still have good tread on them. I should be fine this winter, and then i'll probably get some sumitomo htr+ I believe. I want the ES100's but I hear they're terrible for the snow.

just for my 2 pennies, my front passenger tire was always the one to suffer as well. it was the first to get a bad bearing, the first to go out of balance, and by chance, the first to get a damage crack from the idiots who mounted my most recent set of tires. Now I have to inflate daily, which is no good for the tire... but I have to find a replacement OEM rim, and I'm very tight on cashola right now, so I just limp it along for the moment...

Just as an FYI, the HTR+ tires are fairly loud, at least compared to SP5000s. Good handling tire though.
