Outside looking in..for now

So this hurts to say this (a little) but I am no longer a Svx owner...for now. I traded my 92 liquid silver ls-l 6/92 prod date svc for my childhood/adolescent dream car... a Stingray Corvette. It was a deal I just couldn't pass up even swap. So I've decided that after I restore the vette and square off my 15k in debt I'm gonna be back on the market for a 5 spd zero rust svx or pursuing buying mine back if he ever decides to sell. So ill be watching what you guys are up to, but just observing for now, I'll be an owner again but always an enthusiasts.

Re: Outside looking in..for now

Ill get a couple pics up of both when I get a chance, the SVX needed some work I.e.- front fenders, rear qtr rust repair, and trans was losing the hi clutch. Vette also needs to be put back together in the middle of restoration (he had two kids in process started to be ignored) I'll get some up soon though.

Re: Outside looking in..for now

What year Corvette did you get?
Engine?
Transmission?
Roof?
Color?

I have been working on a 1996 Corvette lately.
It is now supercharged with a custom exhaust and stupid fast!
It does get more "looks" than ny SVXi, but honestly it is not as nice to drive.
My supercharged Claret is faster to 100, but I am sure that above that
(with traction not being an issue)
the Vette will be much faster.
