I'm ready to go. I changed the aul and filter last night.
I'll turn 100,000 miles on Sauturday!
All I need to do is clean up the paint and stuff. Lin and I are ready to go. We can't wait and the car is running well to boot!

As of last count, there were 16-17 signed up. Count me in.
9:00am, Wal-Mart parking lot, Evergreen exit. The Wal-Mart is on the left.

I would like to have a poker run as part of the ride. I currently have 4 prizes donated; one wheel bearing fix (parts and labor), one droopy visor fix (parts and labor), $25 tab at Ten Day Jacks, and one case of Tommyknockers Rootbeer.
Anyone else?

There is an annual car show in Idaho Springs the same day. Last year there were about 50-70 cars. There was even a Sunbeam Tiger

! This takes place at the Elks; one block from Ten Day Jacks. Hamburgers, hot dogs. and Brats will be on the grill, and a bar available.

This will be a good time. Weather will be perfect.

Jenn and I won't be making it this time.. We'll be heading that way Sept 13th though to pick up her puppy, so if anybody wants to get together for lunch, let me know! Hopefully we'll make the next one

Would really like to do the poker run, but I'm afraid that we're not going to be able to make the drive. We're going to try our best to meet up with everyone after though. I'm just afraid that the meet monster might decide to seize my bad bearing.

The organizers of the car show have donated a tee shirt as a poker run prize. They are also giving dash plaques to all SVX'ers who attend the free car show.

I'm just throwing this together at the last minute... I didn't think I would get off of work today... I'll probably leave about 2pm I may just find a nice place to pull off and spend the evening an then meet up with ya'll at 9:00 am... Just kind of want to dilly dally on the way... making driving music now... C D s charging battery on camera... may even stop and have the green machine washed.. to get last weekends bug hits off....
