Braided Brake Lines - any real improvement ?

I am about to pump out the old brake fluid and refill, I could at the same time change the flexible hoses. Are the Goodridge and similar hoses really any better ?

I had a look on the Goodridge site:
http://www.goodridge.net/uk/pdf/all_...s_v_rubber.pdf

Its own figures show a only tiny "bloating" of the standard hoses. It also has a a couple of curves with some unexplained X axis, what is this setup thing ?

Has anyone fitted these and noticed a real improvement ?

The other side of the same question, has anyone had any trouble unscrewing the original hoses, do they corrode on ?

Something we can talk about next week at the JAE !

Regards

Arthur
