downhill, perhaps. Otherwise, the computer should shut it off around 140ish.

Mines a 92..

Ive gone 130.. On I-35 in South Dakota.

I heard the 92's wernt governed.. but would max out around 155 due to resistance from air, tires, etc.

Thumbs up Speed

I did 153 mph at 3 a.m. on a highway.
I had to brake then cause there were some trucks in front of me, but there has been still reserve. I don't even know how fast it can go, but believe me - I don't want to try it again that fast!

i didn't think a 1980 928 could even do 165. mine was an '87 S4. the factory top speed was quoted for the S4 as 165, although i have the video with Al Holbert setting a few land speed records (production) when the '87 S4's first came out at 172mph.

Was on 287 yesterday did 130-135 (somewhere between the 2) after being road-raged at by a guy. Used the metalmaster pads and raceconcepts rotors with SS Lines to bring it down from 130->60 quite quickly, no shaking etc. Very good feel.

130. I have no idea how fast it'll actually go, and I won't know unless I get access to a very long straight on a track. Road America would be nice...

The '92s and '93s are not governed, but how fast mine will go past the 143mph 'estimated' top speed, I don't know. As comfortable as the car felt at 130, that's way too fast on a 70mph freeway anyway.

105mph

I accelerated to 105 getting on a highway, and while I know my '92 could go much, much faster, I can't imagine what would happen if the cops clocked me at 100mph+ Jail? $$$$Fines? I'm just too scared to really open it up.
