Keith, The reason I discussed these issues was for informative purposes and if the original poster was doing the work himself this info would help tremendously.
For example, you referenced 4 o-rings, 2 for the o-rings and 2 for the accumulator. You are right about the 2 for the compressor/lo and hi side pressure hoses. However, as we do not have an accumulator your suggestion doesn't apply. So at most, based on your explanation we would have 3 o-rings for the compressor; hi/lo side pressure hoses and the bolt for oil access. To someone reading this just for curiosity purposes this info will be too down in the weeds and unnecessary, however if you are actually doing the work and talking to others you want to know what you're talking about. I for one would like to use the proper terminology when referring to specific parts of the system. Anyway, after all this i am curious as to whether The1one1andonly got the job done?? |
