srt neon vs. svx

I was riding around with my wife in the car and some kids in the new turbo neon pulls up trying to start a race so I proceed on slowly to a gas station and man here they come and they stopped behind me.After I got out the car the driver appeared to be nervous now,he asked did I race my svx,I said no I take donations for my performance addiction, they laughed but I said if you want to race,we can race at the track for two or three hundred, they again proceeded to brag about how slow the svx is,well all I said was that I'm a hired gun to defend our svx rep.We met at the track last thursday night,we bet 250$ and the guy on the mike said this was a grudge match so everyone rushed to the sidelines to watch.I didn't take a chance I had the 125 loaded and I took a car from the jump and sprayed him and backed off at the end he ran a 14.4 at 99 and I ran a 13.88 at 104 with a 2.24 60ft.He was so let down but he now will think better of all svxes being slow.He said he'll have a stage two upgrade by next spring and I said so will I and we'll get the same results. The stage two neon can only run 13.7@106 so he will lose again.I sure with ecutune stage two kit I 'll be running 13.2 on street tires instead of slicks, man life is good.

The reason I love it that I mostly can tell what a car can do by the sound and they knew my car didn't sound like it was stock but now they know better, its even a rumor that I can disable my rear wheel drive to do a front wheel drive burnout, the things you here is amazing.I know I have fwd but they think its something like the skyline setup which is able to do a burnout with the rear wheels even though its awd.

Well if we make you so sick why was you trying to make your svx so fast.Anyway I can take this seven grand piece of crap and run with that WS6 or that STI take your pick,0-100 in a little over twelve seconds make me sick too.Hell has no fury like a well tuned svx.I still like your opinions,it fuels me to go faster,my goal is to have my hp and benchpress the same number, but then again thats impossible.485 with a pause today.

Hey don't get me wrong, I have no problem with Rally. I'm sure that if I was given the chance to drive 100mph on an 8ft. wide dirt road, it would take no more than 5 seconds for me to get in that little car and step on the gas. However, I know i'd never have as much fun as I would sending a 420hp V8 through the traps at 125mph. Nothing (to me) beats the feel of the launch. Going from standing still to some godawfully high speed in less time than it takes most people to write their name. Now that's racing.
