Do you think black rims on a black SVX would look good like my RX7?

I'm considering getting a SVX for a daily beater.

I almost went Typhoon, but it seems to be another money pit next to the RX7.

IN case ur wondering it has 250k miles on the chassis.

No photoshop on the images.

I wash and wax it with www.zainobros.com

sweet car!

are the rims on the red car in the background from a subaru legacy? they look exactly like my bro's '97 legacy gt rims.

Those are definitely not Legacy GT wheels. A lot of wheel manufacturerers make wheels that use that split spoke style, like BBS, Rota, etc... Plus, those look to be 18's, and the GT's wheels aren't curved that deeply in the center like that, either.

Batman, normally I'm not a big RX-7 fan, but I must say yours is pretty damned sharp. Not all F&F like they usually are, and the black wheels really look good on it. Is that some kind of black Chromalusion paint on it? There just seems to be some shades of blue in it in the first pic. As for an SVX w/ black wheel, you won't know for sure until you try it, but I think it'd look good, too.

I don't know......there's just something cheesy about wheels painted the same color as the car. IMHO your car would look better with silver wheels.

I concur!

P.S. What would really set your car apart would be some nice Ferrari red brake calipers!

Now you're talking! Silver wheels with red calipers! THAT would be sharp. Otherwise it's a nice car, though I don't like Mazda.

Yuck.

Reminds me of the dark green SVX I saw with light green wheels. PUKE. Looked like it belonged in some sort of Lucky Charms commercial.

Now if the rims were painted properly and on the right way, windows tinted dark and stickers removed it wouldn't look bad to me.

My rims are really faded, I'm prbably going to get them a deep gunmetal color, My neighbor did it with his Old Legacy Turbo, and it looks really good. That SVX above is hideous looking........
