How do you know i wasent paying attention to the road, i was looking foward the whole time even paying enough attention to the road to forget to shift. Just because your racing another car does not mean your not paying attention the road, there was no traffic except the STI in the other lane.

OK, this really is out of control. I know you are suppose to moderate, but this isnt moderating its controling! You can't narrow out subjects that you simply dont like, Yes, the moderators jobs are open as far as exactly what they are suppose to do, but to think you have the right to tell a grown man what he can and cannot talk about is rediculously over controlling. You dont like what he says, and take the advice given so often by moderators in situatison and "dont read it or respond to it" If it pushes your buttons (which if seems to do) then by all means just let it die! Now go ahead and talk about this in your special peoples forum, and get back to me on how im out of line.

Seraph isn't a mod and pockets only moved this to the OT forum. No one has moderated this thread as far as deleting posts or locking - they have just put in their opinions on street racing.

I don't personally like street racing threads simply because they are doomed to be a flame war. I cannot state that I am against street racing because I hate hypocrites.

lmao, look alan, get you facts right, it's not a sticker, it's an EMBLEM! but yeah, i laughed my ass off when i saw automatic. unless i'm wrong (which is most of the time), i thought STi's only came in manual.

you guys shouldn't rag on the owner of this post. he raced, none of us were there to witness his feat, so therefore we don't know what the conditions were for him. maybe he was paying attention, maybe he wasn't.

if this thread was put in the wrong spot, it should be but into the right forum, but the content unless offensive shouldn't be moderated. some of us don't like street racing, that's ok. some of us do, that's ok too. if we start labeling who's stupid for doing what, we have just dropped down to Rob/Chicane's level. i don't street race except with myself, but i remember a time where i thought it was fun racing light to light. let's not be too hard on the newb .

word to the newbie: you are not only responsible for your life when you street race, you are responsible for everyone else on the road too. hope you use caution and think before you act on a whim.
