alternator gone?

was on my way to a local suby meet and when i got to a set of lights the car just died no power to anything, tried boosting, car started but died as soon as cables are off car will stay running if reved over 2k i'm wondering if the alternator is gone or something else is the issue?

Check your wiring.

only thing that popped up b4 dieing was the airbag light.
i'm gonna get it tested tomorrow

i think i saw some corrosion in some of my cables. i'll tear it apart tomorrow

Make sure your negative ground is good. Not having a good ground on this car will make all sorts of lights go off. Not to mention shorten the life of the battery
