<<ok will someone explain this led thing once and 4 all>>

Sorry we got sidetracked.

I purchased some LED panels and placed them inside the rear lights inside the housing. These are not the same thing you buy at an auto store that plug into your bulb socket.

These are actual LED panels that are DOT compliant. They consist of 3 rows of 20 LEDs. I place four across the back replacing all four incadescent bulbs with LED panels for a total of 120 LEDs that illuminate when you hit the brakes (More if you include the stock CHMSL LEDs).

There are some photos of the LEDs side by side with stock at the 10th anniversary meet. Maybe someone remebers which locker.

I photgraphed the conversion process but have yet to put it into a how-to. It entails, cutting, epoxying, and soldering and can not be undone to go back to bulbs.

The cost is about $150 for the LED panels.

I will try to get the how to up in the next month, but don't hold your breath, I have a lot on my plate at the moment

My SVX lives under a car cover (a lovely lined one, UV blocked, rain proof etc etc) and very time that I pull in my driveway and see it sitting there I think...hmmm....and get that happy feeling....and when I pull back the cover, from the nose back, and see that aggressive profile, the flared guards, the glasshouse and windows, and the rear (which I think looks excellent), hop in, open the sunroof, smell the leather, and start her up, I think "yep, this is what I waited 3 years for".

And I also do "the look" as I walk towards it, or away....and especially when driving and passing by plate glass windows where I can see myself.

The only other car I want as much also has SVX windows, less than 100 made, and also stops traffic. The fact that it costs $2 million AU is a bit of a problem though!!!

My Ex-girlfriend use to always complain about me parking so far away. She also use to complain about how everyone always stares at us wherever we wen't. I would like everyone to pay close attention to the prefix of her title

There is a fellow here who has a Ferrari and a ranch style house. The garage is next to the rec. room. He had the wall between the rec. room & garage changed to a large window so he could enjoy his car. Perhaps you guys ought to try it.

Only other thing I can say, & I've said it many times, this car just fits like a well worn leather jacket. That's why the SVX is my baby!

Haha. That's awesome. I think it'd be hard to convince my gf that when we get a house the bedroom needs a picture window into the garage though.
