The answer is obvious. Let's make Britannia the 51st state. We can then begin to restore the health of BOTH our economies by beginning to dig the "Mutha' of all Chunnels" across the Atlantic Ocean (Eat your heart out, Bostonians). Then we show our new citizens the "proper" side of the road on which to drive. The new "Atlunnel" will feature luxurious "Floatels" and KFC restaurants, featuring "Stuffed Chicken- of-the-Sea" sandwiches along the way for motorists making the three day trip. We could also combine our currencies, thus eliminating Britannia's dependence on the dreaded Euro. We will keep both the Pound AND the Dollar. With the inevitable world hyper-inflationary period about to begin, a typical monetary transaction would be something like - "Gimme one 'o them Stuffed Sea Chicken sandwiches, please". "Comin' right up, old chap". "That'll be five pounds 'o Dollars". "You want Freedom Fries wid'at"?
