Significant Technical Input
Why should those that have no problem standing in line for a free paycheck and free food have a problem standing in line to re-elect those that provide such items? Baaa aaa (I just thought this thread stayed on topic entirely too long)

If you want to vote, you have to figure out which name is where and then there are those confusing chads. It also requires some understanding that you need to make a minimal effort (taking the time to check a box) for future benefit. If you're getting (or dispensing) government money/food, you just need to have a high tolerance for waiting/rudeness/stupidity/paperwork. Voting requires more thought.

Hey, bub -

He asked for my opinion and I gave it.

You addressed my post so I assume these comments were geared at me. Here's a tip: save the lecture for those who are interested in your opinion, as I am not.

I personally can not stand foreigners. They don't understand the culture. They talk funny. And they're just one more person in my way, whether its on the road, at the store, or on the phone (9/10 times I call a customer service number I can't understand the dude on the other end due to his/her thick accent).

Canadians may loosely fall under the catagory, but again, my opinion stands.

Please note this is just an opinion. I'm not a fanatic about it. I don't obsess about foreign people. But if you ask me how I feel, after contemplation, that is how I feel.

And I do understand that our 'american way of life' would be nothing witout foreign commerce and the habeebs to drive our cabs and yadda yadda yadda, but that does not change the way I feel.

If it were up to me, the borders would be a lot tighter than they are now.

Hey . . . bub --

I don't care if you're not interested. I expressed my shame that a person could be so thoughtless, nothing more. Whether your post or anyone elses. I personally found your comments distasteful and your continued tirade to be more so. If you're not interested in my opinion, don't read it. It's just an opinion.

As you pointed out so succinctly above, we're entitled to our opinions. That's mine. And, if I may revert to my redneck roots (yes, redneck by birth, so, stereotypically, I should REALLY be the one ragging on foreigners), I could give a rats ass if you're interested or not.

I do know someone that is really pissed off at Canada..... Well maybe it is just at a person in Canada, but I think everyone in the general vecinity would be affected by it. It's Noir... And he is out to get DAN from Stebro...... I'd watch out if you live in the area of the Stebro plant.....

I sure wish you feriners & rednecks would learn proper punctuation! It's rat's ass, being in the possessive form. Please try to do better in the future.

Thank you, Ron.

Ron,
I prefaced my remarks with the caveat that I was "returning to my redneck roots." We rednecks do not use correct punctuation, especially when returning to our roots. Just FYI.

Just to lighten things up...

I know you wanted serious opinions, but looks like you got a fair share of those.

Remember the South Park movie where the main plot point was US went to war against Canada? That was hilarious! They've been playing that "Blame Canada" song here and there on the morning radio shows lately, in joking of course. (didn't that song even get nominated for an Oscar that year? )

canada

canada. i like it. i want to visit there. i want to go bear hunting with a spear there. i'd love to have a cabin there. but i like the USA a bit more because i was born and raised here. i have no problems with canadians, i know a few and i think they are great people.

my svx came from canada. it has a canadian flag on it. no vandalism here so don't worry much about that earthworm. if you see something shady going on or if you feel threatened, dial 911.

and here's mine:

I doubt fifthelement even understands the culture. I'm pretty sure that he talk funny too. And i'm pretty sure that to any other american he is also one more person in our way, on our road, at the store, or on the phone. So yah, you are in our way too. Please do something about that fifthelement so that you are not in at least my way. Just because you are an american, doesn't mean that your not just another piece of trash in our backyard.

fifthelement, you disgust me. perhaps you should sell your Japanese car and buy a domestic.
just because you were lucky enough to be born in the USA, do you really feel you are personally better than anyone else? you ain't. snap out of your trance, and grow up.
who taught you racism and ignorance? your parents must be very proud.

We had a redneck at work today throw something at a costa-rican employee and call him a dumb mexican. He went on to say he hated mexicans and black people too and he hated working with them and even the sight of them.
We promptly fired the dumbass - and I am proud that we did.
Racism of any kind is ignorant.
