grinding noise

I talked to my friends at Liberty and they told me things that go bad on the trottle are the air control valve and trottle sensor. This are the more common things that go bad. Any input anybody?

The failure of these components would not cause a "grinding noise." Is this where you are saying your "grinding" is coming from?

grinding noise

Actually I started talking about this in somebody else tread, I guess it was going back and forth, so I started my own tread, sorry. The grinding noise I get is only when I step on the gas, but driving under normal condition, I don't hear it. It sounds like a fast tic,tic,tic... It comes and goes, what the hec...
PS I just received today the remote filter kit for the tranny. I'll wait until I buy the oil cooler, so I do everything at once. Any suggestions on the cooler.

I still don't know what you are talking about..... Does it sound lie it sould be the Valves that are ticking??? But the Grinding...... Usually when things grind together something is happening that can't be fixed by going on the internet to ask people what's this noise.......... I would go straight to a dealer if I were you....
