Sleeve lock regulator availability in Australia?

Hi there everyone!

I heard the dreaded 'BANG' from my driver's window (RHD) tonight......

Does anyone know if there are stock of these in OZ?

Otherwise, I will have to order from USA.

Thanks!

Mike

Re: Sleeve lock regulator availability in Australia?

Yep, i ordered one last year.. $16 I think.

Get the superseded part number though, as I'm not sure Subaru recognises the old part number.

Cheers,
Matt

Re: Sleeve lock regulator availability in Australia?

I had to go through all sorts of hoops to get the $7.00 plastic bit from a Subaru dealer in the USA - he did not have the ability to take an OS credit card. If a US credit card was used it had to be shipped to the billing address of the credit card.... so I eventually asked a friend to send them a $30.00 postal order to finally get two shipped. I do have a spare one just in case if you are really stuck in getting one readily from the US.

Re: Sleeve lock regulator availability in Australia?

Go into your dealer and ask for the following part number

62101PA080

They'll potentially arc up, without a VIN, but they can technically order it.

if you're really struggling, for beer money, i'll order one for you and post it.

In my original post when i fixed one, it seems mine was $10.

good luck.

Hi mate,

I think I will have to take you up on your offer. Subaru Australia has them on back order and the surly local parts place say they can't help (as soon as I mentioned SVX).

Let me know what we have to do.

Mike

Re: Sleeve lock regulator availability in Australia?

Hi all!

I am having big troubles getting this part and I can't lock my SVX properly!!

Now, the bastard window has dropped into the door, so I will have to take it apart and bodge it up so I can go to work!

Anyone who offered help - I am now accepting offers!!

Mike
