Peek in the "attic" subaru attic anyway

I thought this website was kind of interesting. I like the last page with the 100mpg car.

I am trying to figure out just why that ST-X looks so good compared to the Baja. Some thing about that cladding is much more subtle and flows better I'm thinking. I also like the widely spaced S U B A R U on the hood.

On the other hand that Forester Woody is horrible.

Interesting to note that the ST-X concept had a supercharger instead of a turbo.

I had never realized the STX concept features the new-gen dual range tranmission. Thats really cool, because I don't remember reading about that when the concept car came out.

The dual range tranny has always been available since its inception. SOA has just decided that we're either to lazy, to dumb or too fat to be able to decide what gearing or drive wheels we need. You can get some lhd dual range trannies shipped here from South America if you want.
