what do you think my svx is worth.(anybody)

Ok i have a 1992 teal LSL. AWD of course.
ive been driving it as my daily driver pretty much since i bought it a year ago.
but i think i want to go on vacation soon and as much as id love to drive the svx across country, I dont want to break down in it either.
so i bought a slower not as cool, yet more reliable, infiniti i30.(not that my svx hasnt been reliable.) i cant afford insurance on both, and i think eventually ill sell the infiniti and try to find one that allready has a 5 speed installed.

So ill just tell you pros and cons.

pros
-the only thing to break in a year(11000+miles) was my water pump and i replaced it.
-new water pump, and timing belt.
-a cone air filter.
-$500 in cross drilled slotted brakes and stainless steel brakelines from dayle at motorsport warehouse.
-pioneer deck with kenwood 61/2's and 6x9's.
-transmission runs great, and has for the last year.
-the droor under the passenger seat works perfectly.

cons
-theres a tick in the engine. if ound out about it on the way home from phoenix where i boght it. i think it either a slightly loose flexplate or a sticky lifter. but has not effected the performance or reliabily.
-the starter usually clicks a couple times before it starts up.
-theres either a loose connections or the wrong knock sensor because i replaced them both and it still throws a code.(left side.)
-this ones kinda import, someone hit me while i was parked in a parking lot and took off.
i had the body straitend out, but the hood doesnt open right. you can barely tell it was damaged but it was.
-the fender that the ass demolished was replaced and is flat black now.
-but the paint on the hood and roof are sun faded now. so the whole car could use a quick paint job.(i was going to go dark satin blue)
-drivers side seat leather is pretty worn.

thats pretty much all i can think of. she now has 19,s with pretty new tires on them. but i still have the stock ones. i could sell either way.

110,000 miles I am guessing it is around because you didnt specify.

I would say $3k is what it is worth roughly.

Good luck with that Nissan being more reliable than the Subaru. I work at a Nissan dealership, and I don't care for them one bit. I'd take the Subaru on a long vacation way before I'd take a Nissan.

Anyway, looking through the cars in the for sale section with the same mileage as yours and slightly better condition, they're going in the 4k and up range. I would think yours is worth less than that due to the body damage and small mechanical stuff.

With the problems that this car has, it is not worth 4K and up. The paint is not good and it has problems with the hood. The seat is worn, so I would say more like $2,500.

oh the mileage is 125,000 i owned it since about 114, and i changed the oil very regularly.. even more than regularly because i tried alot of different "tick stop techniques".
i posted that in the first post i made but for some reason it wouldnt let me post it.

Yah it sucks i barely had it for a little over a week when it got hit. it was a stupid stoner kid.

those are the back rotors the, front ones are bigger. the stop good and they dont get hot and warp.

i would love to see it gutted, turbo'd and on a race track. eating lancers. for some reason i do not like lancers. they insist upon themselves.
I test drove a v6 mustang the other day and it was slower than my infinti (maxima). wich is way slower than my svx.

+1. 2500 seems about right to me. That primer'ed fender is a value killer.

Keep the SVX. It is worth more to you in enjoyment then what you wil get in $$$$. So you need a starter solenoid and a few sensors under the hood. Then she will be reliable. Funny I always wanted a Nissan 300ZX but in mechanics school I learned all about them. Love my SVX.

im probably going to post it in the classified section. and on tucson craigslist soon. ill probably call dayle see if he wants to make an offer or help sell it first.

I think im going to ask $2000 with the stock rims.
and i can work a deal for the 19's.

i can deliver but ill have to renew my plates and go through emissions.

ill add details in the for sale section

those are the rear rotors. the front ones are bigger. they stop on a dime and wont warp like yours. that is if yours are stock.

they are 35's(not inches) so the ride isnt so bad with stock susp. i've had alot worse.
ever drive a slammed vw bug. the tiniest pebble could cause whiplash.
