Windshield fix all those little chips.

My windshield has gotten so bad from all the rock chips that I could not see anything when driving into the sun. The whole windshield just lit up from all those little chips and scratches. So I figured before I replaced I would try something. I sprayed a test section right where I see out of the window with clear coat. I figure that must be okay for UV rays since it holds up on the paint. I just sprayed a small circle right on the windshield and spread into the window with a new razor blade, after it got sticky, no more spreading. After it dried for about 15 minutes I sliced off the excess. This was done with a razor blade held very flat to the window and the leading edge was at 45deg to the cutting path.
Well to my surprise it has helped very much. I can see out of the windshield again.

You could have sprayed lacquer on all of your windshield, make two layers of it then put it in the sun to dry up. Then get 800, 1200, 1500 sand papers, begin with the 800 and finish with the 1500 to remove the excess of lacquer and to smoothen it up. Then get some thick polish, rub then the thin polish... and you are done with a brand new windshield

yeah this is a technique followed by many car painters, they rub the car's lacquer in the sun then polish it in the sun also. The car's paintjob gets a "glassy" look at the end
