You know your car spends too much time at the shop when.....

1 - your mechanic makes Christmas present house calls

2 - you have the combination to the gate at his garage for after-hours tow-drops

3 - he calls you on Saturday to find out why your car is in the yard now when she wasn't supposed to appear until Monday afternoon!!

4 - he keeps a key to your car at the shop

6 - You make yourself at home on a sofa in the garage, before seeing anyone.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

21. All of the techs scatter like cockroaches, on the floor of a New York brownstone when you turn on the lights, when they see you walk in the door.
22. When you dropped your car off, your techs daughter was just born, and when they call you to pick your car up, they hand you an invitation to her wedding.
23. The've started using your car for tool storage.

24. You have a reserved parking spot.
25. The address on your registration is the garages address.
26. Your mechanic is listed on your car insurance policy as "Primary Operator"
27. Even with your keys in the ignition and the windows down thieves will not steal your car.
