He says the engine still runs but there is no steering the car and the timing cover is busted and yes it is the pulley crankshaft. I am hoping that the problem get's fixed and I will then start taking it to Van Bortel as suggested and hopefully they won't try seeling me stuff i don't need like most dealers do.

yeah he did say crank pulley is the same thing as the harmonic balancce. Just called differently.
