Well, at least you picked a decent Kentucky Bourbon -- None of that TN Sour Mash stuff .

I don't know what they call bourbon in your neck of the woods, but, I certainly don't consider it "oily." If you like Jim Beam, I can treat you to some smooth stuff when you come over.

Smile Sippin contest

Maybe Jerry and I can bring some West Virginia bottled spring water to the meet. (rated number one!) You guys will need to rinse after each "taste" for fairness....this will be a "blind" competition I assume?
Let the taste buds, and not prejudice, color the contest. This will ensure that there is no squabbles after Tennessee is declared the winner....

...I guess I won't be asked to judge now.... Don

Ahem. No, you won't be asked to judge. Bill and I were going to step back and let the impartial have a swat at it. Now that you've shown your "true colors" I reckon that won't be you. Of course, our plan was to have everybody pass out, snag their keys and take everyone elses cars for joy rides. Sorry, Bill -- had to tell 'em, my conscience was getting to me.

I would say that after this competition, the participants will most certainly be "blind".

Oh, rats, Randy! You blew the cover Well, we'll certainly want some WV spring water. And, I don't know about you, but I don't plan on buying JD to make anyone blind, especially not this crew This is a TASTING contest, not a CHUGGING contest.

Bill, have you ever attended a meet with Mr. Tater?
Because in this case, I think "TASTING" may have a slightly different meanin' altogether.

Yeah, the zebra-striped rope would only encourage him

You might want to pick up a 10 lb. bag of Ideeho Spuds . . .

PS. Any news on the job application front?
Wishing you good fortune on that,

Question 10th Anniversary

Is this 10th Anniversary meet in '02??

If so, and the anniversary is also going to be a christening, sounds like the sort of spiritual {couldn't resist it!!} event I would like to attend.

You boys want to try some serious whisky, I have a name for you; Lagavulin . It's a Scotch single malt, and it's expensive. Don't let that put you off, we are worth it.
Normal circumstances, an Irishman should not be promoting Scotch whisky over Irish whiskey, but you've got to give credit where it's due. In the deep mists of pre-recorded history, we showed them how to do it. No denying they were good pupils, and we're proud of them.
Most single malts need water added, this one doesn't, but have it your own preferred way, you will like it. It probably tastes good even with Virgin's water in it, or did I get that post wrong?
