This one is the opposite of the first - it's stretched horizontally. I think it might just be some of the clips. Any of the shots showing an SVX (to my eyes, known proportions) look stretched, but I can't speak for any showing the scenery (unknown proportions). The people look okay, but I think that's because it's only stretched a little.

Sorry if I'm causing you more headache than it's worth. I am just as picky about aspect ratios for digital images and my TV.
I don't mind you being picky, as I am a bit of a perfectionist myself but TELL ME HOW TO DO IT PROPERLY!!!! <rant over>

It is lucky that you pointed this out as a bunch of SVXers were about to go on a crash diet

You still don't get it. Let me try to explain. Let's throw Camaro/Mustang/Vette drivers in one lump. Let's throw SVX/2.5RS/Evo/STi/Supra owners in the other. OKay, the import guys are VASTLY out numbered. HUGE difference in numbers actually.

Which group is dumber?

Probably the Camaro group. Why? It has more people, and more people= more people that have a chance at being dumb. It doesn't mean that ALL the camaro owners are dumb.

Or another angle.... think of your AVERAGE PC user. AVERAGE. A secretary who works at an insurance company and uses AIM and IE5, but can't figure out how to install XP. Most PC users can't even install their own ram.

Nope. We don't. Well, I don't, at least.

Remember, I'm a stupid PC user, so I can't possibly begin to compete with Rob's Mac-user intellect.

That makes two of us.

Trouble is, I see a terrible contradiction, here. Seems that people who judge intellegence by the types of computers or the types of cars people drive, show a marked lack thereof.

POCKETS! PLEASE READ THE WORDS I TYPE! THE WORDS TOGETHER FORM AN IDEA! COMPREHEND! THEN REPLY!

I said MOST PC users. Considering you do 3d modelling, I'm GUESSING that your knowledge of PCs is 'above' average, and you are above average intellgence wise. This is not the case for most PC users.

Most PC users use them at work at their stupid job typing insurance crap, or doing mundane office work. They come home in their camry, and email their friends again, having almost zero computer knowledge.

YOU ARE NOT LIKE THAT. I would say most people here are easily above average intelligence. In the neon forums, it is JUST the opposite. Most people are rather stupid.

Please attempt to understand generalizations.

I disagree. You can tell a lot about someone by the car they drive. The clothes the wear. The books they've read. The hobbies they have.

Oh, I can't tell you how to do it, just that it's wrong. Sorry. I just don't know the software you're using, I don't know what the source is like, etc. You'll have to find an experienced (and therefore, as we've learned in this thread, smarter) Mac video person.

I agree with Rob on this one...but not by definitive measurement. Some millionaires drive beat up station wagons. I do feel SVXers, overall, have unique personalities and Mac users, overall, seem to have above average intelligence. Its just an observation.

For those of us driving an SVX, using a Mac, and are left-handed...well we need to talk. We have a lot in common!

Not really. Take the eccentrics, for instance. One of the most intellegent men I know looks like a homeless person and drives around in a rusted out 85 Datsun pickup truck. You can disagree all you want, doesn't make it so.

I'm a PC user and I drive a Justy. I must be doomed to a life of mediocrity.

I think this guy is an outlier. An exception. Unless you are broke or very frugal, how many car enthusiasts drive around in 85 Datsun pickups. C'mon, really?
