Maybe it had something to do with their use of a full race style engine which required proper warm up before going above 3 grand.

TVR also invented the gasoline engine, and waffles.

thank-you, TVR, for making our lives better.

Looks tallish though, for a "flat" motor.
It will be interesting to see the new Ford pickup engines, particularly the turbo diesels with the change in exhaust/intake systems/locations.

Why are you such an a$$hole. I was simply explaining that the idea has been around for 20 or so years. It isn't like Subaru just invented the wheel. Nor did TVR, it is simply a car which has been employing this method since the SVX was first sold. If you could read I also stated that many race cars have used this type set up even before and again it isn't a cat there either.

I mean generation 2 engines, from EJ on. Like an EJ18 VS a EA81 or 82.

Re: The new phototype flat 4 for the next Gen of Subaru

Hi everyone, A friend of mine knows some guys at the SOA emission lab, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He told me that some direct injection engines had been certified for use in the USA. I'll see if I can get some more info. Take care, BOBB
