Power seat not working.
Took the SVX out for a spin today and noticed the power seat doesn't work. The recline switch works but not the front and back switch. I have my little boy with me so I haven't taken the time to look at it. Before I go look at it later this weekend, I thought I would ask to see if this is one of those problems that is common with the SVX and there is something I should look at first. Thanks for your time and comments, Adam.

Some times when you move the seat right foward it unplugs some of the plugs that are uner the seat you have to unbolt the seat to re plug. Happens to mine when short guys use the car.

Owned the Same SVX 15yrs......
My bet is on 1 or more coins stuck/mangled in the tracks. Solution requires removing the seat(4 bolts-easy) and prying them(coins) out. I had several quarters in mine. Good luck

Try raising it up. Sometimes things get stuck under the seat.

I had this problem too, mine ended up being the connections on the switch had some corrosion on them making contact almost impossible. Mine worked to go back and but not forward. Does the up and down portions work?

Thanks, I'll check for stuff under the seat, my boy is good at bringing little toys in the car that get in all the little tight places, also I check the wires because I think the last time I cleaned the carpet I put the seat all the way forward. Thanks again.
