The A/C in my SVX blows out the defroster vents and floor vents. I can't get it to blow out the normal vents. Does any one know whats wrong?

Ummm...is that a question or a statement? If it's a question, sounds like mode motor time to me, if it's a statement, sorry dood.

Hi kevin,

Well, mine also does that from time to time.... What I do is to change the TEMP setting from COLD to HOT a few times... this sends a signal to the motors actuating the flaps in the heater box.... If that doesn't work, I simply reach under the dash and just "manually help" the motor move the flap....

Look under the dashboard (driver's side) while changing TEMP setting from full HOT to full COLD a few times, you'll see the motor actuate the flap (if the motor is not simply dead). That way, you'll see which one I "manually help"...

This only happens very rarely in my case, that's why I never got around trying to fix it but I think some lubrication would cure the "binding" problem....

Hope this helps
