Ready for Winter

Last week i put on my snow tires (Gislaved NordFrost II) and winter wheels, and my winter wipers. I did it just in time! It's snowed like EVERY day since then. I did a 900 mile trip in the car yesterday and it ran wonderfully! Hopefully my transmission luck has gotten better.

My new place is in the middle of NOWHERE! This is the road I have to drive back (almost 10 miles!) to get to my house. They dont seem to plow or sand/salt it at all. I'm glad my AWD works.

when are you moving to the city, Mike? since you don't have a 1995 SVX anymore, you could change your screen name to BoondockSVX......oh, wait....

I'm looking forward to testing my SVX out in the snow. Central VA is supposed to get our first snowfall Sunday night/Monday coming...

Glad the '92 is doing well with snow tires.

Doesn't look very icy yet. We snapped a pic of one of the "highways" on our way back from Alberta:

Bad news here in central WI. Last night, we got ice storms. Anyway, going up the drive way, I found out that my AWD does work, as my rear end kicked out. Kinda fun. Made it right up the driveway without problem.

As for that knee injury that I sustained on New Years Eve...

I'm driving my dad's SVX until I get the part for my car. I miss my winter tires!!!

I spun out doing a U-turn last night. I just gave it too much gas and the back end came around on me. Never would have happened in my car.
