needed new tires...

And of all places I ended up at Sears. They have the BF Goodrich Traction T/A - V-speed rated, 225X50X16s - on sale at $109. That's lower in price than TireRack or Discount Tire Direct. Plus is it gets pretty good marks in both the owner surveys, and TireRacks in-house tests.

Nice rubber you got for your SVX there!

I'm waiting for the right set of Gen 3 RX-7 wheels to go up for sale on Ebay before buying new rubber. I'll also look to do a 4 wheel alignment around the same time and have more -ve camber dialed into my wheels for AutoX duty next season.
