Changing pads and rotors.

My rotors from Motorsport Wharehouse arrived at my house today. On Thursday we will be putting them on along with new pads. My only question is this. Is there anything I should know about changing these pads. I've done it on numerous cars, but when it comes to these things, the SVX always seems different. If you guys know anything that will help me do the job easier that'd be great.

Thanks

I would say the SVX is one of the eaisiest cars to change brake pads on, if you have expirienct with other cars this one should be a snap. Good luck.

ROTORS and PADS!

Wondering if you got the cross-drilled rotors ($200 each) for the front like I did. Mine came with two drill holes missing! I ended up drilling the two missing holes myself. They are working OK - I'm getting them turned now (1 1/2 years later, about 30 K miles). [It turned out for me that the new fronts made no difference>> IT WAS THE REARS that were warped!]

Pads are routine, nothing tricky. Have FUN!

Go to www.ryanmacdonald.com then click "Sunfire/SVX" on the left hand side, then scroll down to "SVX howto's". On the next page there will be a selection for a brake how to. Very descriptive and should help you out alot!

I ordered the set of 4 Brembo I think slotted zinc coated rotors. They were less than $400 for the set. Really good deal. I'll check that out. Thanks alot.
