need info on caliper interchange

I've been researching the forum concerning front calipers and came across an old thread that the 4 pot front calipers from the GC8 will interchange w/our SVX's. Tried to do more research on the GC8 and found that the front 4 pots from the 06-07 WRX are the same calipers as the GC8. Can anyone confirm that the 06-07 WRX 4 pot calipers will fit our SVX's w/o modifications? Don't know that this is an upgrade but another choice since the SVX's have a different hat size than other subaru's.
