Engine Dies When I Come To a Hard Stop

Hi. I have a 94 that runs great except for one problem. Whenever I come to a hard stop, the engine will die. I also get a CEL code 12 - starting switch or circuit. I'm not sure what specifically that means.

Any help in addressing this issue will be appreciated.
