Major Engine Changes

Here is a bit of a teaser of the mods done to the intake and engine on my race SVX,
So we have,
Link G4+ ECU,
New Bosch racing spark coils.
Tuned to MAP,
Double snorkel,
Machined the center out of intake manifold to get more air into the engine.
Twin 2 1/2 exhaust pipes, one for each bank.
And twin thermostat on the top pipe 1 for each engine bank.

Re: Major Engine Changes

Curious about the top radiator pipes, everything else is pretty cool!

Re: Major Engine Changes

Here is a shoot of in on a old motor, the cross pips at the back has a blocking plate to seperate flow. Each side has a thermostat.

Re: Major Engine Changes

Looks like a great way to equalize the flow on each side of the engine based on temperature, would be cool to see some testing on it to see how well it works.

Machining out the center section means you've lost the IRIS / low torque resonance effect... doesn't sound like a good idea. Second issue I see is none of those items you've listed really will help make more power... it's easy to allow air into the engine but with out cams and or IRIS, it's not going to do much.
