Is https://lookupvin.com/ legit?
I'm putting my cars up for sale on Craiglist. This guy wants me to put my VIN to the site and send it to him? What can he do with that information on my car? Most of the people in Craiglist are scammers, this guy has not showed anything yet, but, it feels fishy. Usually they will ask for the paypal/bank/account info and etc, and they will pay you more money for your car before looking at it or don't need to look at it. This one has not done that so far.
Just don't understand why are they so many people don't find a proper job and do this kind of annoying things.

Just use Carfax or a similar service. Why take a chance?

That site gets hammered pretty badly in reviews online. I'd stay away. On the other hand there is no harm in sending someone your car's VIN. If he wants to run a history report let him pay for it.
