SVX font?

Since I am not litterate in computer design related things.... Is an "SVX" font available for any program?

I mean how could I write something with the same font the "SVX" letters are done?

Would be cool to have a "GranTurismo" badge manufactured using the same font. A rather small metal item - something which could have been there from the farctory....

The SVX is an old skool grand tourer, I think - not a sports car (sorry, Ice) .

Also, there's are "symmetrical awd" stickers on my Outback windows... when I get the VTD done this could also be a nice little add up, eh?

As a graphic designer, let me assure you that the SVX logo is a one of a kind, custom-designed piece of artwork. It stands alone and is based on, or part of, any existing font or typeface family.

The same goes for the ALCYONE text used on the JDM rear panels and their brochures.

However, the word SUBARU (as part of the Subaru SVX Logo, and the Subaru logo) is from the Microgramma Bold Extended /Eurostile font family.

I have spent countless hours on this over the years.

Given its age, there's an outside chance that the original SVX logotype was actually drawn by hand.

With ink. Drafting tools. On illustration board.

yeah i had to trace the SVX font into the computer because i couldn't find a close enough font for the SVX shirts

I can almost guarantee it. I still have many files of original artwork, from major corporations, that were originally rendered this way. The chosen pieces were further refined in this way to provide camera-ready artwork.

If you throw the graphic that's floating around into something like Inkscape I think you can enlarge it how you want without having to worry about the image quality degrading...

now see i was thinking Font as in Computer style fonts.

would be great to get the svx style on the computer, but would have to make the other letters & Numbers the same style.
