does this happen to anyone else?
for the last couple of days after driving (no matter the distance) i get out of the car and try to bend my right knee and there is a moderate to severe pain on the front left side of my knee...it seems to become less painful after i try to walk around for a bit but today it is still sore and i have been out of the car for about an hour....
any ideas?

I have this issue too.
Actually both knees are doing this some times. I *gulp* am worried this might be my last stick shift (for daily driving)

I have the same problem. My orthopedic surgeon said get used to it, you're getting older.
Hope it doesn't reach the point where I have trouble getting out of the SVX.Gene

When I'm having a 'bad back' day, I've been known to sleep in a Subi! Lumbar support cranked all the way, heat on high!! That gets me past the back pain. Never really had a problem with knees from a Subi. I usually take the 'Long way' home... In a bus, I've had to sit there for a while to get the legs to 'work' again before climbing out of them.

I sometimes have weird knee problems if I drive a car that ISN'T the SVX.

I have 3 completely different Subaru's.
85 Brat 89 RX 92 SVX The most comfortable one to drive is my Brat. The seats have been swapped with a pair from a late 80's Mitsu Eclipse. The RX has almost the same seats but from a turbo eclipse. It takes me about 15mi or 1/2hr to get my arse adjusted right in these because of the higher side bolsters (No I'm not fat). The SVX drivers seat cushions have been swapped from a spare passenger seat I had and its like a new seat. Its hard as a rock and puts my butt and right leg to sleep
