Anyone want to trade their cloth seats for leather?

Just thought I would put it out there. I have been interested in getting rid of the leather, and switching to either the cloth of the suede ones. I would really prefer the suede ones. Let me know what you have to work with, and we will see what happens. This is a local thing only obviously, as I would still need a car, lol.

I had a set of cloth seats that I gave away at Reading a year ago. Didn't really have a use for them.

I've never looked that closely at the cloth seats, are there any big differences in the coverings themselves? I would think that the only place might be by the driver's seat adjustment controls as the leather has power seat and the cloth has the big knobs. But still, do the coverings even go that far down?

What I'm getting at is if someone was willing to take their coverings off, those could ship easy and cheap. If they wanted to do the leather on theirs, you could ship it back after the transplant. If not, just store the leather covers in a box in case you ever want to switch back or put them up for sale.

First, "cloth" seats is a bit misleading. I know of at least 3 different coverings that could fit this general discription. I guess 2 of them are referred to as "escaine", but still a form of cloth. So, first what does he really want.

As to your question, the next time I visit my car in storage, I will compare the cloth seats to see if they are will fit. This is a good idea if it will work because you can retain the power seat functions. True "cloth" seats do not have power.

I would actually like the L model cloth interior. Ive seen it now in person, and like the material. Not having power seats wouldnt bug me either, as I am the only one who drives my car, once the seat is set, it doesnt move.

Bump for people who will trade meeeeeee

All the different seat coverings are swappable.

I do love my cloth L model seats . They hold you better so you don't slide around as much as you do with the leather.

I don't get it though. Why would you want to trade leather for cloth.... and I wonder if Dayle at Motorsport would have anything to your liking

Some people just don't like leather. They don't wanna have to regularly condition their seats and all that.
