Lavender SVX?

Granted... I am fairly new to the SVX family, but I dont remember ever seeing a lavender/purple SVX.
Was browsing EvilBay and saw this one.
If its a repaint they actually seem to have taken the time and done it right.

It's Bourdeux Pearl and it's not a repaint. Check out my 94 LSi in my profile. It's more red than any purple anyways. Definately not a "lavander". WTF?! Lavander? Oh well check out Wikipedia for a listings of all the colors and everything on the car. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_Alcyone_SVX

Claret is the black topped Bourdeux Pearl. AND IT"S NOT PURPLE! Maroon if anything. Really check out my profile pic, it only comes up a purpleish at a few angles.(Sorry I've just had this fight with friends too often.)

I have seen Claret and Bourdeaux Pearl in person... the one on ebay is a LOT lighter colored. I thought Lavender was a fairly accurate representation of the color.

The Ebay car sure looks like a Claret to me. But Claret looks like purple to me anyways.

That would be claret. It's essentially a dark purplish color with gold pearl to it, which, if you look closely at that fender picture, jumps out as the light hits it.
the bordeaux is a purplish with a red pearl, so when the light hits it, it turns a rich lipstic color, as bill showed. The claret was offered in 92 only, and the bordeaux in 94 and up

when I think lavender, I think of that light pastel purple you always see on like...easter eggs and stuff. or like this color Actually, I can see how that would get confused with the ebay pictures...but Ill atribute it to the camera making the color too bright, and the fact the car is completely filthy

Okay yeah I couldn't make out the black top. The color really does change that way a lot at the right angles. But deffinately far from Lavander. Did anyone go to my profile to look at mine? Isn't he so CLEAN!. I forced my mother to use her fancy smancy digital SLR to catch it after a fresh washing. Anyone know when the galleries are gonna be open?

The Clarets and Bordeauxs really vary in color depending on lighting conditions and what angle you are at. Also how dusty/dirty they are.

Here's a couple shots of a Claret, same stock color scheme as the one in the ebay picture:
