Before I break something..
could somebody tell me how to remove the front grill? I did a search and nothing came up so it's probably simple.. just want to make sure though, thanks.

use a needlenose pliers to pinch the tabs on the little clips behind the grill, then pull it forward, up and out

I thought there were two or three tabs to use the pliers on...don't remember....
So have you decided to paint your grill? Platinum or gold....  Bling

In 1997 they went from 2 to 4 clips.

That is the way it mounts. The other grill light uses 4 clips as well as the mounts on the bottom.

Too bad Subaru didn't pay more attention to the tranny as much as they did to the 97 grill, since they decided to "beef it up" with two extra clips
