Sally SVX and her badass new wheels

hey everyone,
i had been looking for some heavy/strong looking bronze 5 spoke wheels for my SVX for quite some time. I feel that the SVX needs this type of wheel because it looks heavy/thick and needs strong looking wheels to balance it out. I found a few styles that i liked, but they weren't available in the correct size. A few months ago I saw Dayle's post showing his silver SVX with Nissan Murano wheels. The wheels were exactly what i had been looking for so i bought a set and had them professionally powder-coated in bronze. Here are the results:

bronze

Those are some nice wheels Supa-Roo. Are those bronze beauties 18's? I think they look better on the SVX.

They look like the same size tires that I had on my car (225/40/18).... They are a good size for that wheel... any taller and he would be looking at some messed up speedometer and possibly rubbing of the tires... For the SVX and 18" wheels, 225/40's are the ideal size... As for them being to small overall, yes I would agree with you. I prefer 17" wheels (even though I had 18's...) with 225(or 235)/45/17's... It's all about personal preference though... But with my 18's and the 225/40's and the Koni/GC suspension I would say that my ride was smooth and firm at the same time... Wasn't unbareable like most thought it would be...

I just kinda thought the tires look to skinny for a car so big. I do like the rims though It does look good.

Wow...that looks nice.

I have 225/35/18's on my car, and I think they look right. Wouldnt 40's mess up the speedo? I think having the 35/18's it's already off like 2 mph.
