Short Lived Celebration

I know that Chris is getting ready to purge those members that do not validate their memberships (which I'm grateful and thankful for), but, it still bears noting that we've hit a landmark in our membership (wonder what a "purge" of Yahoo would do to its numbers?). Thanks again, one and all, for making this a great place to be an SVXer. I raise a glass of egg nogg in your honor.

Aredubjay,

How can you justify 'SVXtricide' by purging membership here and at Yahoo?
Boy; first moderator, then dictator.

I can just hear your speech
"Today We Purge The SVX World Network and The Yahoo SVX Club, Tomorrow We Purge the World".

Kind of reminds me of the old MacIntosh/Apple nonconformance commercial.

Purges

This is Chris's original post...

<Well, just before we hit 400 memebers, I am going to weed out the non-validated accounts on November 30th, 2001. I send email to all the addresses listed that have not validated their accounts. Will see how much the numbers drop. I think the total number of non-validated accounts was something like 24. I already have two bouced emails and their accounts are now toast. Sorry for the small stepping stone set back, but lets do this by the REAL numbers>

I don't think too many people disagreed with this at the time he posted it.

Sounds like my buddy(?) Larry has been posessed by a latent spirit. The thought of Larry in a green bathrobe with hair a-frazzled is a sobering (actually is driving me to drink) thought. (Yes, I still resent the "power hungry egomaniac" accusation)

Button hooks

I don't understand this "pressing peoples buttons" stuff....

The one on my belly has been nonfunctional since birth.

Maybe when I was little, I was injured due to a sneak naval attack... Don

With all this verbal sparring going on, it sounds like everyone took lessons in the PunJab region of India.
