The free flow of ideas and concepts is one the foundations of a HEALTHY democracy which I hope we are involved in, not petty ego arguments.

Not sure what that is all about, but http://www.occupyboston.org/.

If you can find it in there, your post will be validated.

Yeah Bobby. If you can't find the signs you posted on that website. You must have just dreamt that you were actually there.

I meant to say credible, not validated. Couldn't think of the word at the time.

Right after my last post I went on Facebook and searched out Occupy Boston. I found their group and inquired about the images. My post was deleted with no response.

My point with the .org site is that they should have their mission statement or something similar up there, so if it is their plan to build a proto-utopian religious village or whatever that was supposed to be, we could weed out the possibility that those signs were fringe opinion.

Thumbs down Re: Of the 1%, by the 1%, for the 1%

So RICO and discrimination for certain private individuals are no longer criminal but considered tort law while SOPA (which can be passed as early as January 2nd) is going to make copyright against others from a civil to criminal matter. Neither seem to go through due process anyway. "These times they are a-changin." (Bob-Dylan)

You're right I must have been dreaming when I went over there. Although if I had been dreaming, the smell would have woken me up pretty fast... Anyways, the lesson here is that websites are apparently always right because not just anybody can build one of those.

Wall Street Employees Threaten To Quit If Bonuses Aren't Up To Snuff

For some on Wall Street, a less-than-stellar bonus is simply too much to bear.

Re: Of the 1%, by the 1%, for the 1%

I dont see what the problem is with the last story or the point you are trying to raise by posting it... A lot of companies (including my own) are holding back on bonuses even though they are pulling in large profits. They are doing this for exactly the reason listed in the story, they know that they have their employees over a barrel. My company made about $4 billion (pretax) this past year and they are talking about 2% bonuses. That is an insult when compared to the industry standard. If we do end up getting 2% bonuses I will be looking around elsewhere for employment.

Company i work for had profits of $4.65 billion last quarter, and instead of the 1/2 day we usually get on Xmas Eve, we got 2 hours off.

Im going to camp out and not shower, and maybe my concerns will be heard!
