She's starting to show her age..

Well, my 92 Pearl is starting to show signs of age, finally... went in for a wheel alignment today and found movement in the lower control arm bushes, plus one front CV boot is leaking (the one I had REPLACED not so long ago ) and the other side is showing signs of wear.

SO, in to the shop next week for new bits and an overdue service.

Not bad for 22yo and 75Klms....

Re: She's starting to show her age..

My 92 has had to have some major work done on it earlier this year including CV joints, timing belt and all the seals in the front that were leaking plus reconditioning of the power steering pump. Runs beautifully now. All is now needed is about 3K to do some bodywork......
Mine is just touching on 180K

Mere teenagers, I think mine is hovering around 400k now and piling it on at about 40k per year.

Re: She's starting to show her age..

Turns out it was a false alarm... my bad for thinking the wheel alignment guy actually knew what he was talking about.. My SVX service guy had a look and couldn't fault anything (apart from CV boots) Said it was almost pristine...

So $525 later and she's had a full service.. plugs were fine but I've ordered a set anyway for the new year...
