Has anyone put any stiffer transmission mounts on the automatic transmissions?

Yes.
Why do you ask?

Re: transmission mount

stiffening the mount will just cause more vibrations sent to the body of the car

Re: transmission mount

Keep in mind that a new stock mount will probably make more difference than you'd expect since the one that's there now is like 20 years old.

It's really up to your personal preference, which you'll only find by trial and error.

That said, if you try the Group N one first and don't like it, it'll probably be much easier to flip than a stocker.

Re: transmission mount

I have one new one left,
that is not filled,
but firmer than stock,
that I can sell.

Re: transmission mount

How much are you asking for the new mount?

What exactly is all that needs to be done to get the group n mount to fit up correctly?

A new stock mount from Subaru lists for $116.83,
$70.00 plus actual shipping sounds fair to me.
