The Meet monster caught us by the heel...

Melis left a bit before me this morning as I had some family business to handle while down in M-town. She was running about half an hour ahead of me and called to let me know that her brakes failed?!?!?

She had fluid gushing out from the drivers rear corner. I caught up to her, filled the reservoir and traded cars to limp it about 10 minutes to my house. Pull the wheel and sure enough, it's spraying out of one of the stainless lines that were on the car when she bought it. A quick trip to advanced for a Legacy brake line, and all is good for now.

Time to get another set of stainless...

Re: The Meet monster caught us by the heel...

Yeah...I was fine heading up 183..stopped at Dave's to load my crap up that I dropped off on Friday and headed up 61...came to a stop at one of the intersections and foot went right to the floor and I started rolling through the red light. Light turned green and I slowly crawled my way to the coffee shop where I'd be out of the way of traffic and could get fuel for myself. The rear drivers side was soaked with brake fluid so I knew it was the hose that decided to fail and Dave again came to save the day..he deserves a cookie..a big chocolate chip one
