Re: SVX poly suspension bushes

Subscribing. I want to see how these work out once they come in. If TiC deems them to be a quality product I'll be very interested in picking some up.

Re: SVX poly suspension bushes

Hey Guys -

For this first go around I'd like to sell them as complete sets. Then we'll look at breaking them down later on. I figure that won't be a problem, but I wanted to check with you guys first. Thoughts?

Re: SVX poly suspension bushes

For me, the fact that this is a complete set is its appeal. I like no-brainers. I can buy one thing and have everything I need without having to pick and match individual pieces.

Re: SVX poly suspension bushes

Does anyone know if these will also work for the '92s? I figure they are the same underneath for the most part, just need to know before I order.

Also, how many kits are left??

Re: SVX poly suspension bushes

I'm seriously interested in the control arm and trailing arm bushings. The sway bar bushings won't work with my sway bars , and I'm going with aftermarket lateral links.

I hope you are saying you just got that in the mail and you can ship stuff out on Monday. If so, how is the quality?

I know that I am being overly optimistic though as I doubt that you already got the sets from Poland...

Bill, why cant the guy that made your front bar make more of them? I know it would be more expensive than the rears, but still...

Bobby,
It's not that more can't be made, it's just that I don't believe anyone short of Dan N. is going to be willing to put out ~$900 for a custom front sway bar and the the arms that go with it. It's basically a NASCAR splined bar with custom welded splined arms.

Re: SVX poly suspension bushes

Bobby,

For starters, here's a pic of the splined end of the bar and the custom spacer I had to machine to make it work with the stock bushing bracket.

Re: SVX poly suspension bushes

in case you were wondering "why the custom spacers?"....here's what happened when I tried to run the stock bushing brackets...

FYI -- this bar has also ripped the stock end link brackets off of both strut housings

I need to dig up a pic of the arms..

Re: SVX poly suspension bushes

What did you do next? Replaced them with OEM ones or something custom and more durable?
