STi pink injectors

will the STi injectors work in an SVX without any other modifications done? I don't know that it would be any improvement but I know they should fit and connect right up just not sure what the ECU will do with them.

Re: STi pink injectors

I'm not sure if the stock ECO would be able to run STi injectors...Unless you've done performance mods to your engine there's nothing to be gained by installing larger injectors. It's like putting a 250 MPH speedometer in a Yaris.

Re: STi pink injectors

lol nice analogy! besides just plain curiousity I didn't know if it was even an option for the stage II Lan sells or for those who do improvements to their builds but need more fuel. While it can go beyond our current set up I wasn't sure if there was a lean condition that could arise and with these you may get a few extra cc's of fuel that the stockers wouldn't be able to do. Not really my area but thought it was interesting. I would consider using them if ever going turbo.

Re: STi pink injectors

They would be a great option for those looking to go for a moderate turbo build, or even a good N/A setup. They can probably be had pretty easily from NASIOC with so many people going for monster 1000cc injectors. As for engine management, I believe the ECUTune ROM's are tuned for the specific injectors (Stage I for the stockers, and Stage II for the 370's). The Hydra Nemesis can run any injector you can fit on the motor, but requires tuning.

Don't take my word on that though, there are much more knowledgeable minds than mine on this site.
